 Miss Kenya Swiss 2005 - Winnie Rhyner The Miss Kenya Swiss 2006 beauty contest will be held on Saturday the 25th of November at the Banquet Hall, Schluefweg Center, Zürich Kloten. The Miss Kenya Swiss Beauty pageant is showcasing the most vivacious Kenyan women in Switzerland. The pageant promises a dazzling evening with the 11 most beautiful Kenyan Swiss society beauties vying for the 2006 crown and all the accompanying accolades! The Miss Kenya Swiss Beauty pageant admits only the most well rounded applicants. Only females who are proud of their Kenyan origin and culture, and who will bring an essence of elegance to the Kenyan society in Switzerland and will show the society that she is the most-fitting candidate to represent the society in Switzerland and beyond are allowed to participate.
The pageant’s mission is to unite the Kenyan society in Switzerland, to create an international awareness of Kenyan issues, and to promote Kenyan tourism. Keeping in tune with the pageant’s mission, the crowned Miss Kenya Swiss Beauty Queen will work as a spokes model during her reign, engaging in various activities to help unite Kenyans in Switzerland and promote Kenyan culture and awareness and tourism. Uniqueness of Miss kenya swiss beauty pageant The Miss Kenya Swiss Beauty pageant is also unique in the following ways:
- It is a platform in which the children of many generations of Kenyans in Switzerland come up to express themselves
- It is a "tool" and a technique to help the Kenyan society integrate in Switzerland
- It is a social platform in which Kenyans choose future role models
- It serves as a platform for self-realization for the young 2nd, 3rd and 4th generation Kenyan descended females in Switzerland
- It is a platform through which Kenyan females in Switzerland can participate in other Kenyan Beauty pageants like Miss World Kenya, Miss Earth Kenya, Miss Tourism Kenya and other international beauty pageants
- It serves as a "door-opener" for many of the Kenyan descended females that intend to pursue careers in the beauty, fashion and modeling industries.
The Miss Kenya Swiss title holder must not only have at least one of the parents or grand-parents directly descended from Kenya but must also posses the following qualities:
- She should be knowledgeable - more specifically about modern day issues and how these affect the Kenyan society
- She should exhibit poise, charisma and confidence
- She should be enthusiastic about charity work – both in Kenya and Switzerland
- She should be intelligent
- She should posses feminine beauty

All contestants will walk away with prizes and gifts like certificates of participations, cash money, gift vouchers, goodie bags and many more. The contestants are coached and counseled before, during and after the pageant. They will also enjoy a fun-filled year of personal appearances coupled with media recognition and visibility
